We’ve been asked to help Barclays find new team members for their Risk, Finance and Treasury Technology Team.

Rate Submission is Barclays’ strategic solution for calculating, evidencing and supervising their LIBOR, SIBOR and EURIBOR submissions. RateSub is a high visibility regulatory project used by middle office Treasury traders;

Currently, they are building and completing the next generation solution, which will calculate individual rates submissions based on provided methodology and approval workflows process.

The application is based on latest technology: C# .NET, AngularJS, WebApi and MS SQL 2012.

What will you do?

You will be responsible for developing and improving key components of their applications by designing, developing and maintaining their AngularJS UI application and WebApi backend application. You’ll be working in a development environment where you’ll be using deployment processes such as TeamCity, Nolio, and Nexus.

About you?

You’re a developer who likes to create platforms and tools that enhance other peoples working lives using the latest technologies to add value and create something useful. You’ve been programming with C#/.Net for what seems like forever, you know it inside out and you found that learning AngularJS, whilst is was a difficult learning curve, is an awesome framework.

You know your databases; Even if you’ve been known to drop a few tables, your knowledge in MS SQL is excellent and you also appreciate the performance improvement and stability that comes with Entity Framework 6.

It would be nice if you have very good knowledge of WebAPI but that’s just us hoping to find a purple squirrel-unicorn!
